During law school, Tommy gained valuable judicial experience through an internship with Georgia Supreme Court Justice Charles J. Bethel, developing a strong foundation in legal research and writing. In law school, Tommy also served as a legal intern in the State and Juvenile Courts of Athens-Clarke County, served as Vice President of Communications of the UGA Law Federalist Society, and was a member of the Christian Legal Society. Today, Tommy’s practice consists primarily of business law, probate litigation, real estate matters, and general civil litigation.
